WILL JESUS CHRIST OR PAUL BE FOLLOWED?

The path to true holiness is influenced by the figures we believe and follow. Jesus revealed the gospel of the kingdom, which embodies the teachings of Christ, while Paul proclaimed the gospel of uncircumcision, representing his own doctrine. By thoroughly understanding both teachings, we can unlock a deeper and more meaningful awareness of holiness.

In an unexpected event, many mixed up the two teachings mentioned. Because of that, there was great confusion among humanity. Enough so that it started a seemingly endless dispute between Christian denominations. They are like wild animals in the field that prey on each other day and night.

In this context, it demonstrates the profound nature of God's justice that the truth worthy of being embraced, championed, upheld, taught, and lived out has been made clear to everyone. This truth is none other than the teaching of Christ, which deserves our commitment and devotion.

Consider the stark contrast between Christ's teachings and those of Paul. It becomes increasingly clear that Paul directly opposes Christ's fundamental messages about the gospel of the kingdom. This rebellion against Christ's words cannot be overlooked.

As it is clearly articulated,

TEACHING OF CHRIST

TEACHING OF PAUL

Mat 5:

17  Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

18  For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Rom 3:

20  Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

Rom 4:

15  Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression.

Mat 19:

17  And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

 Rom 7:

6  But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.

Joh 12:

50  And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.

Gal 5:

18  But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.

The teaching of Christ emphasizes that the law is essential for saving the soul and granting forgiveness of sins. We will follow Jesus Christ, as instructed by the Father.

In Paul's teaching, the law is rendered insignificant or void. In other words, Paul makes the law ineffective in its own context.

FAITH

TEACHING OF CHRIST

TEACHING OF PAUL

Jas 2:

8  If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:

14  What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?

18  Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.

20  But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

:22  Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?

24  Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.

26  For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

Mat 17:

5  While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.

Gal 2:

16  Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

Act 13:

39  And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

Gal 3:

11  But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

Rom 4:

5  But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

Rom 3:

28  Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

When it comes to faith, the teachings of Christ stand out because they inspire all to believe in the one true God of heaven, grounded in the principles of the law (Torah).

The Father's message is unmistakable: we must embrace and follow the teachings of Jesus.

It is also easy to recognize Paul's teachings. He strongly advocates for belief in Jesus Christ without relying on the works of the law (Torah). Paul fervently argues that, in essence, the law is ineffective and does not lead to genuine holiness. On the contrary, embracing faith in Christ and following the works of the law are crucial for proper spiritual growth.

BAPTISM

TEACHING OF CHRIST

TEACHING OF PAUL

Mat 3:

11  I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:

Rom 6:

3  Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?

4  Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Mat 28:

19  Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

20  Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Mat 17:

5  ….. This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.

Act 19:

5  When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

6  And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.

In his teachings, Jesus clearly instructed the apostles to baptize in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. This highlights the importance of recognizing baptism as an act performed under these three names: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Paul introduced a unique form of baptism, distinct from what Jesus designated for his true apostles. His baptism symbolizes a commitment to the death of Jesus Christ (Rom 6:3-4). Importantly, this baptism is conducted in the singular name of Jesus. Yet, it’s crucial to recognize that Christ never commanded anyone to baptize solely in his name or in relation to his death. Instead, baptism in Matthew 28:19 is a significant act in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

WHO FOUNDED THE CHURCH

TEACHING OF CHRIST

TEACHING OF PAUL

Joh 5:

30  I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

Eph 5:

23  For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

Eph 5:

24  Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.

Joh 12:29  The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spake to him.

Col 2:

7  Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.

Mat 16:

18  And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Rom 16:

16  Salute one another with an holy kiss. The churches of Christ salute you.

In John 5:30 and Matthew 16:18, it is not merely Jesus speaking, but rather the Spirit of the Father dwelling within him, directing his every word and action. He did not build the Church; that honor belongs to the Father.

As followers, we are called to obey the commands of the Father, which means we must listen closely to Jesus.

It is clear from Jesus Christ's words that it was not he who founded the Church but rather the Spirit of God within him, as mentioned in John 5:30 and Matthew 16:18. Therefore, it would be more appropriate to refer to it as the Church of the Father or the Church of God instead of the Church of Christ, or Iglesia ni Cristo.

As a result, it becomes evident that Paul's statement in Romans 16:16 does not align with Christ's teachings, which we must prioritize above all else.

JESUS’NATURAL STATE

TEACHING OF CHRIST

TEACHING OF PAUL

Joh 8:

40  But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.

Mat 26:

38  Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me.

Php 2:

6  Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

Rom 9:

5  Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen.

Joh 20:

17  Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.

Mat 17:

3 ….. This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.

Col 2:

9  For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

 Heb 1:3  Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

The Father's strict command emphasizes that we are to listen exclusively to Jesus. Therefore, when it comes to understanding His nature, it is essential to pay attention to His own words. Jesus is truly human and did not become divine. The Father's directive is clear: we are to heed and obey Him.

In this misleading interpretation, Paul asserts that Jesus is God. Yet, it is the Father who has instructed us to heed Jesus’ words. Therefore, we have no legitimate reason to embrace or follow Paul’s flawed teaching about the true nature of Christ.

TITHE OR AID TO THE SAINTS

TEACHING OF CHRIST

TEACHING OF PAUL

Mat 10:

7  And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

8  Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

9  Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses,

10  Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: FOR THE WORKMAN IS WORTHY OF HIS MEAT.

2Co 11:

8  I robbed other churches, taking wages of them, to do you service.

2Co 8:

2  How that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded unto the riches of their liberality.

 3  For to their power, I bear record, yea, and beyond their power they were willing of themselves;

4  Praying us with much intreaty that we would receive the gift, and take upon us the fellowship of the ministering to the saints.

Mat 19:17  And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS.

1Co 16:

1  Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye.

Mal 3:

10  Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

Mat 17:

5  While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.

2Co 9:

7  Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

Following Christ's teachings, even in the book of the prophet Malachi, God clearly instructs us to bring the tenth part into His house. Tithing is not just a suggestion; it is a divine command that humanity is called to follow and embrace as a vital aspect of our lives.

The phrases "COLLECTION FOR THE SAINT" and "DONATION FROM THE HEART" do not originate from God's authority; they are solely Paul's interpretations. Do you support his decision to replace God's commands with his misleading statements? This change demonstrates how Paul frequently alters the Word of God by adding to and removing from it, which can lead others away from the truth.

The points highlighted reveal significant contradictions between Paul’s teachings and Christ's. This comparison illustrates the stark differences found in the New Testament. Paul diverged from the gospel of the kingdom, advocating instead for the gospel of uncircumcision, a doctrine rooted in pagan Roman ideology. This discrepancy raises essential questions about Paul's purpose in strongly opposing Christ's teachings.

In conclusion, anyone who opposes the TEACHING of CHRIST is openly called a non-believer in the teaching of Christ. This Paul, based on his rebellions against the truth that came from the mouth of Christ himself, has undoubtedly been proven to be an actual enemy. Will you still follow Paul when the Father commanded that we only listen to Jesus? (Mat 17:5).

Mat 17:

5  While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.

THIS IS THE TEACHING OF CHRIST. May the abundant blessings of the one true God of heaven always be with each of you.

Until next time, goodbye.
