WHEN A TEACHING ATTACKS RELIGION BUT BECOMES RELIGION-LIKE Is the Nokodemion–Plejaren Framework an Upgraded Belief System?

 Changing the vocabulary of belief does not automatically transform belief into knowledge.

A belief system does not cease to be a belief system merely because it replaces angels with extraterrestrials, revelation with Contact Reports, prophets with herald personalities, heaven with higher dimensions, and God with an evolving Creation.

The Nokodemion–Plejaren framework strongly criticizes religious belief, revelation, worship, and dependence upon spiritual authorities. Yet many of its own foundational claims—including extraterrestrial contact, higher spirit-energy levels, repeated Nokodemion personalities, interdimensional travel, reincarnating spirit-forms, and the Absolutum hierarchy—remain dependent upon testimony attributed primarily to Billy Meier and the beings reported through him.

This article examines whether the framework has truly escaped religious belief or has merely reconstructed it in a more modern, extraterrestrial, evolutionary, and scientific-sounding form.

The purpose is not to attack individual followers. It is to ask whether the same evidentiary standard used against religion is also being applied to the Nokodemion–Plejaren teaching itself.

LANGUAGE SWITCH

Religious belief systems are often criticised for asking people to accept extraordinary claims through revelation, sacred testimony, inherited authority, and promises concerning realities that cannot be independently examined.

The Nokodemion–Plejaren framework presents itself as an alternative to this religious method. It frequently distinguishes knowledge from belief, rejects worship, condemns religious dependency, and claims to offer a rational understanding of Creation, consciousness, evolution, natural law, and human responsibility.

At first glance, this appears to be a decisive departure from religion.

But rejecting religious vocabulary does not necessarily mean that a person has escaped the structure of religious belief.

A system may abandon churches, priests, angels, miracles, sacred scriptures, and traditional doctrines while retaining the same underlying pattern:

  1. an extraordinary source beyond ordinary human access;
  2. a specially authorised messenger;
  3. a body of transmitted teaching;
  4. a cosmic history unavailable to independent investigation;
  5. a promised path of spiritual or consciousness development;
  6. a community that treats the transmission as superior knowledge;
  7. and protective explanations whenever verification is requested.

The central question is therefore not:

Is the Nokodemion teaching officially called a religion?

The more important question is:

Does it function epistemically like a belief system by asking people to accept unverified testimony as established knowledge?

This article examines that question through the Doctrine of the Seven Pillars of the Eternal Source—Truth, Light, Love, Power, Creation, Wisdom, and Life.

For a related distinction between sincere conviction and demonstrated knowledge, read:

When Belief Is Disguised as Knowledge

___________________________________________________________________________________

I. Rejecting Religion Does Not Automatically Produce Knowledge

A person may correctly identify weaknesses in organized religion and still accept another unsupported framework.

Leaving one belief system does not guarantee entry into knowledge. A person may simply exchange:

  • an ancient authority for a modern authority;
  • a terrestrial prophet for an extraterrestrial teacher;
  • sacred revelation for a Contact Report;
  • spiritual mystery for cosmic mystery;
  • or religious terminology for scientific-sounding terminology.

The replacement may appear more intelligent, modern, rational, or technologically advanced. Yet its foundation must still be examined.

The decisive issue is not whether the teaching mentions spacecraft instead of angels. The issue is whether the spacecraft, their occupants, their messages, and their alleged history can be independently established.

A modern appearance cannot substitute for evidence.

II. What Makes a Framework Religion-Like?

A system does not need a church, clergy, worship service, or formal creed to function in a religion-like manner.

It becomes religion-like when it contains a combination of the following:

  • privileged revelation;
  • inaccessible higher beings;
  • an authorized human transmitter;
  • sacred or protected writings;
  • a universal history known mainly through the transmitter;
  • teachings about the origin and destiny of humanity;
  • an account of what happens through repeated lives;
  • moral and spiritual development;
  • a community of committed interpreters;
  • and explanations that protect the central authority from falsification.

The Nokodemion–Plejaren framework contains many of these elements, although it describes them through different words.

This does not make it identical to Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, or any other organized religion. It does mean that it can perform some of the same intellectual and social functions.

A useful description would therefore be:

A non-theistic, extraterrestrial, evolutionary, and quasi-religious metaphysical system.

It may reject religion officially while operating through patterns commonly found in religion.

For a fuller explanation of why DSPES itself must remain examinable rather than becoming another protected religious institution, read Why DSPES Does Not Belong to a Religious Framework

III. Updated Vocabulary, Similar Structure

The following comparison does not claim that the two sides are identical. It shows that changing terminology may preserve the same authority structure.

Traditional Religious Structure

Nokodemion–Plejaren Equivalent

Divine revelation

Contact Reports and higher spirit-energy teaching

Prophet or chosen messenger

Nokodemion and his recurring herald personalities

Angels or heavenly messengers

Plejaren and higher spirit-energy entities

Sacred scripture

Contact Reports, FIGU publications, and spiritual teaching

Heavenly hierarchy

Absolutum forms and higher Creation levels

Creation account

Nihilo, spirit-energy vibration, and Creation Universal Consciousness

Afterlife doctrine

Reincarnation of spirit-forms through new personalities

Spiritual advancement

Consciousness evolution over many lifetimes

Sacred history

Nokodemion lineage and alleged extraterrestrial human history

Religious authority

Billy, Ptaah, Petale, Arahat Athersata, and Plejaren sources

Mystery beyond human understanding

Humanity is not yet sufficiently evolved to understand

Doctrinal protection

Contradictions attributed to translation, misunderstanding, or limited evolution

The important question is not whether one column sounds more advanced.

The question is whether the claims in either column are supported by adequate evidence.

IV. The Closed Circle of Authority

A serious structural problem appears when Billy Meier’s reports are used to establish the authority of the Plejaren, while the alleged Plejaren are then used to establish Billy’s authority.

The circle works like this:

  1. Billy reports that he communicates with the Plejaren.
  2. The Plejaren reportedly confirm Billy’s mission and knowledge.
  3. Billy records their confirmation in the Contact Reports.
  4. Followers cite those reports as evidence that Billy and the Plejaren are authoritative.
  5. Questions concerning the reports are answered by referring back to the same reports.

This is internal confirmation, not independent corroboration.

In the uploaded discussion concerning Nihilo, Billy delivers almost the entire cosmological explanation. Ptaah’s final contribution is essentially an approval that Billy has given “good explanations of the facts.” Yet Ptaah’s identity, presence, words, and authority are known to the reader through Billy’s own report.

Therefore, Ptaah’s approval cannot independently verify Billy’s explanation.

It remains part of the same testimony.

This resembles the circular pattern found in some religious defenses:

The messenger is true because the revelation says so, and the revelation is true because the messenger delivered it.

A closed authority loop can preserve confidence inside a community, but it cannot establish truth outside that community.

V. Testimony Is Evidence—but Not Conclusive Evidence

It would be inaccurate to say that testimony is not evidence of any kind.

Testimony is evidence that someone claims an event occurred or that certain words were spoken. Human society regularly depends upon credible testimony.

But testimony has different levels of strength.

A testimony becomes stronger when it is supported by:

  • independent witnesses;
  • contemporary records;
  • physical traces;
  • reproducible observations;
  • transparent methods;
  • accurate predictions;
  • and evidence that does not depend upon the original claimant.

Extraordinary claims require stronger corroboration because ordinary explanations may also account for the testimony.

For example, a Contact Report may establish that a text attributed to Billy contains a conversation. It does not by itself establish that:

  • The conversation occurred exactly as written;
  • Ptaah physically existed;
  • Ptaah was extraterrestrial;
  • The translation is exact;
  • The cosmological information is correct;
  • Or the source possessed superior knowledge.

Those are additional claims requiring additional evidence.

A responsible examination should distinguish four levels:

Level 1 — Testimony

Billy or an attributed contact person says something.

Level 2 — Internal Coherence

The statement is compared with other reports to determine whether the system agrees with itself.

Level 3 — Independent Corroboration

Evidence outside Billy, FIGU, and dependent interpreters supports the claim.

Level 4 — Demonstrated Knowledge

The claim survives testing, alternative explanations, attempted falsification, and repeated independent examination.

A great portion of the Nokodemion–Plejaren cosmology remains at Level 1.

Extensive reading may increase familiarity with the testimony, but familiarity is not verification.

VI. Scientific-Sounding Language Is Not the Scientific Method

The framework frequently uses technical or mathematical language:

  • seven dimensions;
  • seven Creation belts;
  • interdimensional gates;
  • spirit-energy vibration;
  • positive-negative polarity;
  • a 2.7-second present;
  • 280 elements;
  • googolplex-related expressions;
  • and (10^{49}) Creation transformations.

Such language creates an appearance of precision.

But precision of wording is not the same as precision of measurement.

The claim that the present lasts exactly 2.7 seconds raises basic questions:

  • What instrument measured it?
  • Which observer’s frame determines the interval?
  • Does gravity affect it?
  • Does motion affect it?
  • Where does one 2.7-second present end and the next begin?
  • What observation could prove the claim wrong?

Likewise, the claim of 280 elements could become scientifically meaningful only if the teaching supplied testable characteristics such as atomic numbers, masses, stability, spectral signatures, or decay patterns.

The claim of (10^{49}) transformations appears exact, but the report provides no derivation showing why the number must be (10^{49}) rather than another value.

Science is not defined by complex words or enormous numbers.

Science requires:

  • clear definitions;
  • observable consequences;
  • disclosed methods;
  • independent testing;
  • reproducibility;
  • correction;
  • and possible falsification.
Without these, technical terminology may become a decorative covering for belief.

VII. The Nihilo Problem Reveals the Deeper Contradiction

The discussion about Nihilo provides a clear example of how an elaborate explanation can hide a foundational contradiction.

The passage describes Nihilo as:

  • absolute nothing;
  • a nothing-vacuum;
  • the absence of material being;
  • endless timeless duration;
  • and an absolute nothing-space.

Yet it also says that within this alleged nothing, there existed or developed:

  • spirit-energy vibration;
  • movement;
  • condensation;
  • polarity;
  • self-excitation;
  • development;
  • causal power;
  • and a birthing capacity.

If vibration exists, there is not absolute nothing.

If energy exists, there is not absolute nothing.

If duration exists, there is not absolute nothing.

If potential exists, there is not absolute nothing.

If something can carry, generate, develop, or give birth, it is not nothing.

The explanation therefore does not describe creation from absolute nothing. It describes development from an alleged primordial non-material energetic condition.

That condition may be called pre-material, immaterial, spiritual, energetic, or presently immeasurable. But it cannot truthfully be called absolute nothing.

The problem is not solved by saying that spirit-energy is not matter.

The question is not merely:

Was matter present?

The question is:

Was anything present?

According to the report’s own description, something was present.

This contradiction matters because the entire hierarchy of BEING-Absolutum, SOHAR-Absolutum, Super-Absolutum, and lower Creation forms depends upon that original spirit-energy state.

The framework, therefore, has not explained the ultimate origin. It has only moved the unexplained origin backward.

VIII. Selective Skepticism: One Standard for Religion, Another for FIGU

The strongest criticism concerns the use of unequal standards.

A follower may demand from religion:

  • archaeological evidence;
  • manuscript evidence;
  • historical corroboration;
  • logical consistency;
  • scientific compatibility;
  • eyewitness reliability;
  • and explanations for contradictions.

Those are legitimate demands.

But the same follower may accept the following through Billy’s testimony:

  • Plejaren existence;
  • Ptaah’s identity;
  • Nokodemion’s ancient history;
  • Petale-level teaching;
  • interdimensional travel;
  • repeated reincarnation;
  • the ANKAR dimension;
  • millions or billions of years of hidden history;
  • and exact cosmological structures.

When strict evidence is demanded from competing religions but not from the preferred framework, the result is selective skepticism.

Selective skepticism is not open-minded inquiry. It is the defense of a chosen belief through unequal measurement.

The proper standard must be symmetrical:

Whatever standard is used to examine Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, spiritualism, atheism, or another worldview must also be applied to the Nokodemion–Plejaren framework.

The Seven Pillars must not become a weapon used against others while protecting one’s own preferred teaching.

For the broader principle of equal measurement, see: The Law of Reality: The Final Measure

IX. “Humanity Is Not Ready” Can Become a Protective Shield

Some teachings may genuinely exceed current human understanding. Intellectual humility is necessary.

However, the statement “humanity is not ready” becomes problematic when it is repeatedly used to avoid examination.

It can function as a protective shield:

  • If the teaching is unclear, humanity lacks understanding.
  • If the evidence is absent, humanity lacks the technology.
  • If the claim conflicts with science, science is still primitive.
  • If contradictions appear, the reader is insufficiently evolved.
  • If verification is requested, the knowledge is too advanced.
  • If predictions fail, the circumstances have changed or were misunderstood.

Under such a structure, no evidence can count against the teaching.

A claim that cannot possibly be shown false is not automatically true. It may simply be insulated from testing.

An honest framework must identify in advance:

  • What evidence would support it;
  • What evidence would weaken it;
  • What finding would require correction;
  • And what finding would show that a claim was mistaken?
Without such conditions, “higher knowledge” can become another name for protected belief.

X. Is the Framework an Upgraded Belief System?

The word “upgraded” is useful if understood carefully.

The framework appears upgraded because it uses:

  • extraterrestrials instead of heavenly beings;
  • spacecraft instead of supernatural transport;
  • consciousness evolution instead of sanctification;
  • spirit-energy instead of spirit;
  • dimensions instead of heavens;
  • Contact Reports instead of scripture;
  • universal heralds instead of prophets;
  • and vast evolutionary ages instead of sacred chronology.

This makes the system sound modern and compatible with science-fiction imagery, cosmic evolution, and technological progress.

But an upgrade in presentation is not necessarily an upgrade in evidence.

A traditional belief written in ancient language and a modern belief expressed through scientific language may still rest upon the same foundation:

confidence in an authoritative testimony that has not been independently established.

Therefore, the fairest conclusion is not that the Nokodemion framework is exactly another conventional religion.

The more precise conclusion is:

It is a modern, non-theistic, extraterrestrial, and evolutionary metaphysical belief system that can function quasi-religiously when its testimony is treated as unquestionable knowledge.

XI. Not Every Follower Should Be Judged Alike

Fairness requires an important qualification.

Not every FIGU reader or Billy Meier follower accepts every claim uncritically.

Some may:

  • question translations;
  • Compare different Contact Reports;
  • investigate photographic claims;
  • challenge particular teachings;
  • treat the material only as philosophy;
  • or suspend judgment concerning extraterrestrial claims.

Therefore, it would be unjust to say that every follower behaves identically.

The proper criticism is directed toward a method:

Whenever a person accepts Billy’s testimony as established truth without independent examination, that person has moved from investigation into belief.

The same judgment applies to every religious, philosophical, political, scientific, or spiritual community.

No person should be belittled. But no teaching should be protected.

Respect for persons does not require surrendering the examination of their claims.

XII. DSPES Examination Through the Seven Pillars

1. TRUTH

Are claims being identified honestly as testimony, hypothesis, interpretation, or demonstrated fact?

Calling unverified cosmology “knowledge” exceeds the evidence presently available.

2. LIGHT

Are the definitions clear and stable?

Terms such as Nihilo, BEING, spirit-energy, dimension, universe, Creation, belt, and Absolutum frequently require sharper definition.

3. LOVE

Does the examination preserve human dignity?

Followers should not be mocked or treated as intellectually inferior. The correction must address the claim without degrading the person.

4. POWER

Where is authority concentrated?

When the truth of the teaching depends upon inaccessible beings reported through one principal intermediary, epistemic power becomes highly centralized.

5. CREATION

Does the framework identify the ultimate foundation of existence?

An evolving spirit-energy vibration does not explain its own origin, law, potential, or ability to develop.

6. WISDOM

Does the confidence of the conclusion match the strength of the evidence?

Wisdom refuses both careless rejection and premature certainty.

7. LIFE

Does the teaching strengthen present responsibility?

Cosmic histories, past personalities, and future evolutionary levels must not overshadow the moral seriousness of the life being lived now.

For a detailed explanation of equal examination, read: The Seven Pillars: The Standard of Alignment

XIII. Questions Every Serious Follower Should Be Willing to Answer

A sincere investigator should be able to ask:

  1. What evidence confirms Ptaah independently of Billy’s testimony?
  2. Which cosmological claims were publicly recorded before corresponding discoveries?
  3. What unique prediction could establish Plejaren knowledge?
  4. What result would demonstrate that a Contact Report claim was mistaken?
  5. How can the seven dimensions be independently detected?
  6. How was the 2.7-second present measured?
  7. Why is Nihilo called absolute nothing if spirit-energy existed within it?
  8. What evidence identifies the previous personalities of Nokodemion?
  9. How can a Plejaren-origin spirit-form be distinguished from another spirit-form?
  10. Why should Ptaah’s approval of Billy count as independent confirmation?
  11. What method verifies Petale or Arahat Athersata as actual sources?
  12. Are the same standards applied to FIGU that FIGU applies to religion?

These questions are not expressions of hatred.

They are expressions of intellectual responsibility.

A teaching that claims truth should not fear honest measurement.

XIV. Corrected Position

The Contact Reports may be studied as:

  • testimony;
  • philosophical literature;
  • claimed extraterrestrial communication;
  • a metaphysical cosmology;
  • a moral teaching;
  • or a subject of historical and evidentiary investigation.

They should not automatically be presented as established knowledge merely because their contents are attributed to Ptaah, Nokodemion, Petale, Arahat Athersata, or the Plejaren.

The responsible position is neither blind acceptance nor automatic rejection.

It is a disciplined classification:

What is testified must be called testimony. What is inferred must be called inference. What is believed must be called belief. What is demonstrated may be called knowledge.

Q&A

1. Is the Nokodemion–Plejaren teaching a religion officially?

No. It presents itself as a teaching concerning Creation, consciousness, evolution, natural law, and extraterrestrial knowledge. Nevertheless, a system may function in a religion-like manner even if it rejects the official label.

2. Does calling it religion-like prove that it is false?

No. Classification does not determine truth. The point is that its claims must be examined rather than accepted merely because the system rejects traditional religion.

3. Are Contact Reports evidence?

They are testimonial documents. They provide evidence that certain statements are attributed to Billy and the alleged contact persons. They do not independently prove the identity of those persons or the truth of every reported claim.

4. Is testimony worthless?

No. Testimony can be meaningful evidence. Its strength depends upon credibility, independence, consistency, corroboration, physical evidence, and the availability of alternative explanations.

5. Why is Ptaah’s confirmation not independent evidence?

Because the reader knows Ptaah’s words, identity, and approval primarily through Billy’s own reports. The confirming source and the reported testimony remain within the same authority chain.

6. What is selective skepticism?

Selective skepticism occurs when a person demands strong evidence for opposing beliefs but accepts the claims of a preferred teaching with a weaker standard.

7. What is the proper DSPES position?

Study the teaching respectfully, classify its claims accurately, test what can be tested, identify contradictions, require equal standards, and withhold certainty where evidence is insufficient.

CONCLUSION

The Nokodemion–Plejaren framework criticises religious belief for depending upon revelation, authority, tradition, and unverifiable spiritual claims.

That criticism may sometimes be justified.

But the framework must submit to the same examination.

It cannot reject prophets while protecting a universal herald. It cannot reject revelation while treating Contact Reports as superior transmission. It cannot reject heavenly beings while accepting extraterrestrial authorities without independent verification. It cannot condemn faith while asking readers to trust dimensions, spirit-energy levels, reincarnation histories, and cosmic hierarchies known mainly through testimony.

The issue is not whether the terminology is religious or extraterrestrial.

The issue is whether the claim has crossed the boundary from testimony into demonstrated knowledge.

At present, much of the Nokodemion–Plejaren cosmology remains testimony supported by internal confirmation. Some elements may be philosophically interesting. Some moral teachings may possess practical value. Some claims may deserve further investigation.

But practical value does not prove cosmological truth, and extensive internal study does not equal independent verification.

The framework may therefore be described fairly as an upgraded or technologized belief system whenever followers treat its unverified teachings as settled knowledge.

The ancient vessel and the futuristic vessel may look different.

But without evidence, both may still be drifting upon the same ocean of belief.

SIGNATURE CLOSING PARAGRAPH

We do not honor truth by attacking religious belief while protecting a preferred extraterrestrial belief from the same examination. Every teaching must stand before one measure. Neither antiquity, modernity, spiritual authority, advanced technology, nor cosmic language can exempt a claim from evidence. Truth is measured, not invented. Reality is discovered, not created by testimony.

CALL TO ACTION

Read the Contact Reports carefully, but do not merely collect their explanations. Separate testimony from evidence, possibility from fact, and internal agreement from independent confirmation.

Ask the same questions of every worldview:

  • What is being claimed?
  • What evidence supports it?
  • Can it be independently examined?
  • What would prove it wrong?
  • Is the same standard being applied to everyone?
Do not attack the follower. Examine the foundation.
