Who Were the True Eyewitnesses of Jesus?

Truth begins with those who saw, heard, and walked beside him

Many teachings about Jesus exist today — but how many come from people who actually heard him speak?

An examination of which New Testament writings come from direct witnesses of Jesus and why it matters for understanding his real message.

History is not preserved by popularity.
It is preserved by witnesses.

When an event happens, later generations may repeat it, interpret it, expand it, or reshape it — but only those who were present can testify to what truly occurred.

The same principle applies to the teachings of Jesus.
Before asking what people believe about him, a more basic question must be answered:

Who actually heard him?

Because the authority of a teaching does not begin in devotion — it begins in testimony.

Jesus as the Medium of the Holy Spirit

Understanding how the Spirit of God worked through Jesus to reveal divine truth and guidance.

The ministry of Jesus cannot be understood apart from the work of the Spirit of God within him. The Gospel accounts repeatedly portray his words, actions, and authority as arising from the Spirit rather than from independent human power. Yet this relationship is often misunderstood. Some traditions portray Jesus as acting entirely from his own divine nature, while others confuse the operation of the Holy Spirit with forms of spiritism or occult mediation. To understand his mission clearly, the nature of this relationship must be clarified first.

Clarifying a Dangerous Confusion

The concept of Jesus as a medium is often misunderstood because modern culture associates mediumship with occult practices and spiritism. Scripture, however, clearly distinguishes between false mediumship and biblical indwelling.

Jesus of Nazareth was not an occult medium, nor a self-empowered divine being. He was a fully human vessel governed by the Holy Spirit of God, acting in obedience, alignment, and moral accountability, a pattern examined in detail in the Christology of Jesus of Nazareth.

🔥 Speaking in Tongues: Never Taught by Christ, and a Direct Contradiction of the Spirit of Truth

🔥 Speaking in Tongues: Never Taught by Christ and a Direct Contradiction of the Spirit of Truth

Unveiling the truth behind the so-called "gift of tongues" — a practice never endorsed by Jesus and contrary to everything the Holy Spirit taught through His words.

If Jesus never spoke in tongues, never taught it, and never told His apostles to practice it—why is it central in many churches today? Who authorized it? Not Christ.

Jesus Christ: A True God or a Son of Man?

E
ven though so many centuries had passed, the controversial religious debate had not seemed to die down regarding whether or not Jesus Christ is really an embodiment of God or is considered to be among the ranks of the holy prophets. Most of the religious sects in the world do not actually consider the first born of Mary as a God, but as a son of man. Merely the Greco-Roman (Paulinian) Christianity is the only religious group that thoroughly believes and considers Jesus Christ to be God. Up to now, the opposing sides remain as such – still in an unending debate - regarding the beliefs of this particular religious doctrine.

On one side, the believers to this Godly notion of Christ’s essence are not few. On the other hand, those who faithfully consider Jesus Christ as the son of man as based from the truths laid bare from the Holy Bible – including the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) and other religious groups – are also great in number, and they stand by their knowledge that Jesus Christ is the one and only religious savior that was chosen by God to eradicate the sins of humanity.

From the joint efforts garnered through a thorough research of the learned bible scholars and of most of the people of society regarding this endless debatable issue, it has been proven that Jesus Christ, as the first-born of Mary, is not – in all actuality - rightful to be called as a true God. The manner of how those who claim this issue to be false and how they have arrived on the conclusion that Jesus is indeed God is what we are going to give a crystal clarity and enlightenment to in this piece.
