Jesus of Nazareth lived in Israel and worked as a carpenter until John baptized him in the Jordan River as a sign of repentance from sins. Historical accounts note that after John's baptism, the Spirit of God descended upon Jesus.

In this context, faithful witnesses to Jesus Christ's life boldly testify to the world about the powerful ministry of the Holy Spirit, who was actively and mightily present within Jesus Christ's entire being at that time.
